Our precious baby boy laughed for the first time on Tuesday September 1st. Just like his gummy, silly smile, his laugh is goofy and hearty. Check it our for yourself. These two videos are from later in the day. When Ben laughed for the first time I was holding him out in front of me. We were marching around the couch and I was singing to him.... "All around the couches, the momma chased the Chico. The momma thought twas all in fun, then....POP goes the chico." (these are my words the the song "Pop goes the weasel...." Silly, I know. When I would sing the POP part, I would stop suddenly and toss Ben..... and I would just laugh.
In these videos we are playing on the bed. Way fun.

3 whole months!!!
Benjamin Jess King Jr. is three months old!!!
So, a little update.
At three months our little boy can...
- Sit up with a little help
- Hold his head up for about 30 seconds without flopping
- Sleep all through the night. (8:30pm all the way to 6:30am. Then he eats and sleep for another couple of hours.
- Smile with his mouth and eyes.
- Express distress without crying. He can make an ugly face and use his voice to "talk" without crying.
- He can anticipate getting tickled when we provide the cues. It's cute, he squirms and smiles.
- He can differentiate between the need to eat and the desire to suck on a football, aka pacifier.
- He can see across the room
- He can track movement with his eyes.
- He can see an object and reach for it.
- He can grasp objects in his hands.
- He can interact with people in his facial expressions and turn taking in conversation.
- He can tell when momma leaves the room.
- get any cuter
- have better friends and family. Yall are amazing.
